Tom Bennett is a folk blues one man band from the North Georgia countryside. His songs are performed on resonator, harmonica, vocals, suitcase drum and tambourine; all played simultaneously. Tom's story began at nine years old on the Eagle Crest Ranch. Many days were spent learning the blues on harmonica. At age 32 he began playing guitar and was invited to be the opening act for a nationally touring blues band. In his twenties Tom hitchhiked, rode greyhound and freightrains all over the USA. His hitchhiking led to staying with gang members in East L.A and on another occasion waking up surrounded by coyotes. Having made his way to Utah Tom fell in with Mormon polygamists, he eventually studied Buddhism and spiritual paths. He sold cocaine, was arrested and after completing rehab was a Boys and Girls Club Director. He now tours full time.
