Download PDFNIKKI grew up with MTV and VH1, spending hours in front of the TV learning the words to her favorite songs. Studying with vocal coach, the renowned Sal Dupree (The Duprees) brought her way to Nashville, TN to begin her career as an artist and songwriter.
Nashville Recording Artist, NIKKI BRITT is excited about all the opportunities coming her way. She recently opened for James Otto, Tim McGraw, Lady Antebellum and her debut album READY TO RIDE contains 12 tracks that give the listener a deeper insight into who Nikki is as a person.
NIKKI recently starred in her latest music video, "Do I Look Like Him" filmed on location in Nashville starring Nikki Britt, Jaime Dudney, and Whit Gilbert.
NIKKI BRITT has performed recent shows with Oz Noy with Will Lee (The David Letterman Show, Keith Carlock (Steely Dan, James Taylor, Sting) John Eddie,The Bob Polding Band, Antigone Rising, AMERICAN IDOL-Elliot Yamin and The Zac Brown Band's label mate Sonia Leah in the Northeast with great reviews from her fan base.
Recent venues include: The Havana, New Hope, PA, The Stone Pony, Asbury Park, NJ, The Wonder Bar, Asbury Park, The Saint, Asbury Park NJ, The Bitter End, New York City, Mexicali Live, Teaneck, NJ, PNC Arts Center with Lady Antebellum/Tim McGraw.
As busy as all her performances have kept her, Nikki graduated from high school with high honors. She is also currently pursuing a degree in Linguistics. Nikki speaks and sings Japanese, French, and is presently studying Italian and Spanish. If this didnt keep her busy enough, she is also continuing to write her songs and in August 2011 went back into the recording studio to start cutting a new song with plans to record additional songs in the very near future. Nikki is also in the process of collaborating with other songwriters. She hopes, with all the hard work she is putting into her degree and song writing, to be able to translate her songs so she can become the first international Country artist to connect with other countries in their native language.
