Kelly's Lot is roadhouse rock and blues band with a sound that is upbeat, heartfelt and a lot of fun. The band adds rockin' riffs and high energy to create their own kind of blues. In 1996 the band was formed by Kelly Zirbes, the lead singer and songwriter and includes Perry Robertson, Matt Mcfadden, Rob Zucca, Sebastian Sheehan and Robert Dill. They have toured nationally for the last 15 years and with the help of European fansand friendsthey toured across Belgium, Germany, The Netherlands and France in the last 3 years. Last year they recordeda live CD from Brussels, BE. which will be released in late 2011 when the band goes out on their 4th European journey. Kelly's Lot is a 5 piece but also has the ability to add sax, keys and a trumpet if the gig permits. They play original music but have recently added covers of bands they love. In the last couple years thebandhas beenbookingmorebluesfestivals including The Waterfront Blues Festival in Portland Oregon, the Big Fish Blues Festival, Maxson Roadhouse, The Santa Clarita Blues Festival,the Pasadena Blues Festivaland other SoCal events.They have opened for Tommy Castro, Shemekia Copeland, Marcia Ball, John Mayall,Curtis Salgado and have hosteda couple blues events for charityincluding one for the City Of Hope in August. Kelly Z recorded her first demo CD, "Kelly's Lot", with J. Peter Robinson, composer and former keyboard player for Phil Collins and The J. Geils Band. Next were 3 live CDs, "Live at The Troubadour", "Stop And Make A Difference" and "Trio". During that timeKelly and the lotheadlined local festivals, toured regionally and went on 2 national tours. Kellys Lot has been featured on many media outlets including ABC Perspectives, Channel 4 in Milwaukee, Rock City News, LA times, Pasadena Weekly, Independent Songwriter Magazine, Mixdown Magazine, The Debra Duncan Show, Good Morning Texas, The Gordon Keith show and Fox TV Houston. Many USA radio stations, traditional, college and internet have played their CDs. The next 2 releases "Come To This" and "The Light" were played on traditional and internet radio overseas in Europeand sold worldwide.Pastrami and Jam was their last release which included a list of covers the band enjoys playing.
