Voice N Barz bring about old school, original music that reflects the dynamic harmonies and chemistry of musical greats such as Boyz II Men, Jodeci & Jagged Edge. For over a decade, Voice N Barz have written, produced and recorded over 60 original tracks coming from countless hours of studio and writing time. Both James and Paul recognize the sacrifices needed to pursue their talents that will take them to the next level. Coming from musical backgrounds with multiple family members still in the entertainment business today, Voice N Barz strive to carry out the same creativity and dedication bringing superior quality music back to the forefront of the music industry.
Voice N Barz have toured and opened up for national acts such as The Sugarhill Gang, Stevie B, 5 time Grammy Award Winner Mr. Cheeks of the legendary Lost Boyz, Joe Budden, 2 Pistols, and Craig G., to name a few. Recently, Voice N Barz recorded a song, My Name, with Gold Artist, Freeway from Philadelphia and has had continued success on a recent radio campaign with their new single, Never Enough, which debuted on over 200 commercial and online radio stations, capturing #95 on the Top 200 National Digital Radioplay and #16 0n the Top 50 Indie National Digital RadioPlay. The duo has also won multiple showcases and contests including, but not limited to: The 2012 Ammo Entertainment 1 Up competition, the 2012 Coast2Coast Philadelphia Industry Showcase Ft Freeway, the 2012 Coast2Coast Miami Hip Hop Convention Ft ToneTrump, and the 2012 Elegant Hoodness Sony Ioda Music Competition in New York.
As Voice N Barz have accomplished a great deal thus far, there are no signs of a downturn. Their mixtape, Never on Time Always On Point, has been a great success providing a sensational response across the country. Currently on iTunes, Voice N Barz have seen increased purchases of their new single, Never Enough, with more than 2,000 sold singles just after a 3 week radio campaign. Other reigning single releases such as My Name, Ghost, and Victim of Homicide have also been sold on iTunes with a 130% increase over the past month in song purchases by the general public. Voice N Barz will be featured on a new iPhone App called OpporTUNEty, as upcoming artists on a Coast2Coast mixtape, The Winners Circle, and on an upcoming artist DVD titled Blow it Up. Most recently, Voice N Barz were selected to be featured as upcoming artists on the Compilation CD, Hustlers and Ballers Ft Snoop Dogg, E40, Too Short, and Glasses Malone. The CD will be launched in Japan with an aggressive marketing campaign to include front register retail presentations, tours and radio.
As Voice N Barz continue to make their climb to the top of the music industry, they also play a pivotal role in their communities and have charitable affiliates such as: Juvenile Diabettes Research Foundation, March of Dimes, American Cancer Society and Harlem Settlement.
