The Heritage Quartet would like to thank you folks that prayed for us to find a new Lead Singer when Mark announced that he would need to come off the road to take care of some family and work related matters. We will miss Mark and can never thank him enough for the hard work and sacrifice that both he and his family put forth in support of THQ. Thank Mark and Jody from the bottom of our heart.

We were humbled by the fact that we had some great singers and what’s even more important than that, we had some wonderful Christian men audition for the vacant position. Thank you so much for those willing to come and audition. You blessed us with your time and talent.

Well, it was a hard job but I’m happy to say the search is over and we have found our man. Let me be the first to introduce to you, THQ’s new Lead Singer… Mr. Mike Call. Mike is a native of NC and currently Mike and his wife Terry makes thier home in Waxhaw, NC. Mike is no stranger to Gospel Music. Mike has been singing and involved in the Gospel Music Industry for more than 38 years. So make plan to come out and meet Mike and enjoy some great new music from THQ.

An Open Letter from Mark King:

Hello Heritage Quartet Fans!

I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for your love and support through my time with The Heritage Quartet. It’s been a great journey! These guys are my brothers in Christ and their unending love for Christ really shows in their music and testimony.

My last concert with the guys will be at Midlands Singing Center in Gilbert S.C. on August 6 at 6:00 PM. Please come out and support the guys and The Midlands Singing Center!

I love this group and I would like nothing more than to stay and sing but due to my work commitments and my family commitments, it’s time for me to step down. I will still be active behind the scenes with the quartet and you may see me from time to time at one of their concerts.

Please pray for them as they continue on with Mike. I’ve know Mike since the early 1990’s and the man can sing! He has a great range and I feel he will be a great asset to The Heritage Quartet. Pray that God will continue to bless them in all that they do.

I pray God’s blessings on all of you folks as well and I ask that you pray for my family and I as we venture in to another chapter in our lives!

I will cherish all of you and especially the guys and their families that make up the greatest bunch of folks known as The Heritage Quartet!

Until He Comes,
Mark King
