The Mojo sound is centered around the voice, guitar and songwriting of Michael Meadows, and combines rock & reggae & ska for the upbeat original sound. With Maggie Meadows on keyboards, John Keller and Justin Hess round out the rhythm section on bass and drums respectively and Justin contributes backing vocals. Dr. Dave Noe occasionally provides the trombone. Each member has had experience performing and recording around the country (Mr. Meadows has also performed internationally). Good tunes and great musicianship have made this band regulars in the Paonia and North Fork Valley music scene on the Western Slope of Colorado. The debut EP includes Longtime, The Hills, Come On and Keep The Faith. Watch for the follow up EP in 2018 with songs like Crack of Noon Club, The Ska is the Limit and Shes Got the Mojo. The band has performed at the Gears & Beers Festival in Paonia and the Mountain Harvest Festival and Black Eyed Pea Jubilee, both in Paonia (several years running) and the Main in Motion Streetfair in Montrose, CO (also several years running), as well as beer drinking establishments from Ouray to Palisade to Carbondale, CO. The mojo duo is Michael and Maggie performing the upbeat mojo songs with a rhythm box in an intimate efficient unit.
