Each member of the SweetWater Blues Band brings their own unique personality and feeling to the blues. The music they perform is all about making a connection between the listener and stories told by the songs. We entertain audiences of all ages at a variety of venues with a mix of original songs and the classics written by the masters. The SweetWater Blues Band has more than just a relationship with their music, they provide the audience with a deep emotional connection to the blues that comes from their genuine appreciation for the art.
SWBB is located in Northern Michigan and has performed at Rootenanny, the Traverse City Film Festival, on the patio at the Holiday Inn West Bay, the Morel Mushroom Festival, the State Theater, Boyne City's Stroll the Streets, the Alden Stroll, Friday Night Live Traverse City, Harvest Festival, Doug Fest, Papa Lou's, Little Bohemia, Alden Bar & Grille, Murray's Bar & Grill, Gold Nugget Bar & Grill, Jordan Inn, the Roadhouse along with many private parties and fund raisers.
In the spring of 2012 the band released "Black and Blue" their first original CD, recorded at the IFR Recording Studio in Bellaire, MI. With 8 original songs we have received great praise from listeners on the connections they made with the lyrics and the authentic awareness the band brings to the music.
