Eyesburn is a Hardcore/Punk/Reggae band from Belgrade, Serbia formed 1994 that uniquely fuses brass instrumentation into its Hardcore Metal, psychedelic punk, and rootical reggae sound. Often accompanied by two trombones and a baritone sax, Eyesburns sound is big and multi-dimensional, full of impact from its generation and the political environment it has grown up in, it is an energetic and impassioned excursion, that journeys from the old world into the new!

Since the band originated from the Belgrade Hardcore scene as early as 1994, the first album was recorded live at Belgrade club KST. In the early days, Eyesburn played mostly in Belgrade clubs, occasionally having a gig or two elsewhere in Serbia.

The band started to work on its first studio album, Dog Life, with vocalist and frontman Coyote. A colourfu and inventivel crew of musicians who gathered around the same idea, and went on to start a new musical current which presented all the genres that had influenced and educated them over the years. Making its own specific mixture of styles, and creating their own unique sound, they have paved their way through a few minimal line-up changes onto creating a long and eventful musical band history.

In 2000, Eyesburn recorded their album Fool Control, and this solidified their reputation as a band in the Balkans to keep an eye (or an ear) on. As a confirmation of their growing popularity they received an invitation to perform for the pre-election tours ITS TIME and USE IT (your brain) to bring Milosevichs political system down. During this tour Eyesburn were able to perform nationwide. Also recording a soundtrack for the most popular youth film Munje, the band expanded into wider recognition. They have since played and toured extensively in Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Slovenia and over the years have become one of the most active bands on scene in Yugoslavia.

The album Gabau, released in 2001, represents a specific turnover to the reggae sound that underpins Eyesburns enormous energy and allowed them to sonically explore their hard core metal roots further. Eyesburn subsequently participated in EXIT festival in Novi Sad where they performed along with Tony Allen, Asian Dub Foundation, and Fun-Da-Mental. They also performed as guests for big Belgrade concerts, such as Lee Scratch Perry, Burning Spear, and Core bands like Pro Pain.

The following album Solid, was released in Serbia in May 2003 and was hailed by fans and critics as their best album to date, showcasing a more matured and developed sound, but with a more dynamic attitude to the music and songwriting. This led to an invitation from Max Cavalera to do a song for the Soulfly album Prophecy, (the song is called Moses), and to play on the 2004 Prophecy Europe Tour. Also, Coyote appears on the Soulfly album Dark Ages, released in 2005. Eyesburn went on tour in Serbia, and later in other countries (Bosnia, Slovenia, Austria, Bulgaria), as guests of Soulfly and Black Sabbath.

In April 2005, after a couple of line-up changes, they started recording new album at Novi Sad studio M and studio Cameleon in Zemun. In December, the same year they published the album How Much For Freedom? After further touring and continued popularity, Eyesburn took its first proper break in 2007, and went on to work on other projects. (Most notably frontman, "Hornsman Coyote", who has worked prolifically around Europe, and become a well-known and much-loved Reggae solo-artist/trombonist). But in 2011 they reformed, and took the show back on the road. This culminated in new written works and a storming return to sonic notoriety with 2013s Reality Check album.
