My inspiration comes from my heart and soul..I feel good music and I create music that is to move your emotions

Most urban music recording artists either excel at singing or rapping but very seldom does a diverse artist come along that is capable of performing both roles with exemplary skills. The California-native known as the Original Playboi is one of the few exceptions.
The Original Playboi is no stranger to the music business and has forged an authentic sound that would be hard for less fortunate artists to duplicate. His music includes a variation of styles such as: Southern Rap, Trap music, R&B, East Coast Rap, Bay Area Rap, and even harmonizing melodies.
His musical background began in the church choir at the age of six. Nearly a decade later, his insatiable love for singing prompted him to become more serious-as he transitioned his long time passion into a solid career. Much of his style can be attributed to listening and observing a wide-range of artists during his childhood from Gladys Knight and The Pips to Twista and seemingly, everyone in between. He is also inspired by artists who understand what its like to make something out of nothing, such as 2pac and Too Short.
In December 2011, The Original Playboi released two records for a mixtape project by Brick Squad Mafia artist, Jo Sauce entitled, "Red Christmas. A year later, he released an independent album entitled, "Self Titled: The Original Playboi.
The seasoned artist has collaborated with several top-tier artists and producers such as: DJ FunkDaddy (multi platinum producer), Link Nukem (Producer for Wu-Tang), Glasses Malone (Cash Money Records Artist), No Clue (Guinness Book of Records-fastest rapper), Papa Black, X-Raided, Redhead Steve, Chris Keyes (Mo Thugs Records), JT Funny Money, and more.
The foundation of his buzz was built by ensuring that everything that he released was recorded at top-quality and for being consistent at networking. After commanding the attention of music fans in his area, he began to network with many of the top promoters nationwide. The avid performer has made live appearances in over 30 states and is a registered member of CD Baby for music publishing and distribution. I have been performing live since high school talent shows when I'd sing other artist songs and literally would make every lady n school want me...there's a reason I'm called The original Playboi because for 15 years I've been a ladies man.
The Original Playboi is currently recording two different projects that is anticipated to be released this year-a mixtape entitled "Thieving Beats" and an album entitled, "Radio Hits. Both of these new releases will further display the rich, yet diverse talent by perhaps one of the best rappers/singers that weve seen in a long time.
