Joanna has been privileged to work with seasoned musicians including drummer/producer Bobby Blotzer of Ratt and Bassist/recording engineer Jeff Pilson of Foreigner. Also honored to work with multi-platinum award winning drummer Mike Gage of Dallas Texas.
Joanna earned 2nd place at the Write About Jesus Music Conference in her division with the song "Save Me' from her Fallen Angel, Come album in 2015.
Joanna was voted best vocalist @ Longviews ALLEYFEST for 2011 by PINEY WOODS MAGAZINE. Also chosen as a 2011 Mountain Stage NewSong Contest Regional Round Finalist. Her song, Look Away, was chosen for discmakers 2005 compilation CD. Joannas former band, Magdalene, also boasts their success as East Texas Battle of the Bands winner for 2006 and 2007. Her song, "If You Want Me To" was chosen by the Dallas Songwriters Association as a top 10 winner in the 2007 competition. Dallas Songwriters Association also awarded one
of Joanna's newest releases "Save Me" as semi-finalist in the 2011 song-writing competition.
