Download PDFMemphis, TN native Robinson Bridgeforth is a gifted and well versed drummer whose love for his craft and the art of music surpasses words and transcends into a realm of feeling and understanding. Robinson began playing drums at the age of two, performed on the legendary Beale Street at three, began reading music at four, and the rest is his-story at the guidance of The Creator.
From 2010 to mid 2012, Robinson had been traveling the country and performing with the frat party band Speakerboxx led by talented artist Cayerio. Since leaving the group, he has had the opportunity to travel with and play behind the likes of recording artist Kym Franklin, Grammy nominee and Dove award winner Mr. Del (formerly of the Oscar winning group Three 6 Mafia), and many more. Robinson is now the drummer for international touring blues guitarist Jeff Jensen and the Jeff Jensen Band.
Aside from the Jeff Jensen Band, Robinson also holds down the drum chair for, and is a founding member of the band REACH. REACH is an Instrumental Jazz Fusion group based out of Memphis, Tennessee that formed in the Fall of 2011. REACH strives to push the boundaries of musical development while still maintaining the ability to relate to people. His bandmates consists of Alex Morgan and Greg Langston on electric guitars, Zach Nixon on saxophone, Cedric Taylor on keyboards/synthesizers and Zechariah Frink on bass guitar.
