Bio
Download PDFA native motor city girl, Tiffany Michelle is no stranger to the hardships and struggles of ordinary life. Yet, for as long as she can remember, her voice has been lifted in song.
Demonstrating a talent for performing in many different artistic arenas, by the age of 18 Tiffany Michelle had already begun to live her dreams. She graduated magna cum laude and was accepted into the Conservatory of Theater Arts and Film at SUNY Purchase, a highly competitive and prestigious acting school in New York City. Undaunted by the challenge, Tiffany Michelles dedication to her craft earned her several scholarships and awards, and once again, the distinction of magna cum laude.
Following graduation, Tiffanys next several years were a whirlwind of sets, stages, lights and cameras. Perhaps best known for her role as Zondra on Comedy Centrals Chappelles Show, she appeared in several other televised productions as well, including Law and Order SVU, Law and Order Criminal Intent, Miracles Boys (pilot, directed by Oz Scott), several national network commercials and Guiding Light. Off-screen, Tiffany Michelle appeared in several staged readings throughout New York City, and in various Regional Theater performances such as, Polk County, Joe Turners Come and Gone, Bootleg Blues and Crowns. Tiffany Michelle also understudied Tracie Thoms & Aunjanue Ellis in Regina Taylors Broadway play, Drowning Crow, an adaptation of Anton Chekhovs The Seagull.
Today, Tiffanys music offers a refreshing sound that flows from the heart; her debut EP, featuring the single Second Chance, features a succession of songs that tell her story.
Through her songs, Tiffany Michelle shares those experiences with us; we hear the life behind the music, and the heart behind the artist.
She shares her life with her daughter Zoe, her deepest love and most treasured blessing from God. As a single mom and a committed artist living in New York City, with God, all things are possible!
