FLY Musiq is a multi-talented, soulful, and lyrically-gifted Atlanta native. FLY's name represents Faith, Love, & Youth and reflects her passion and desire to deliver music that penetrates and restores the soul.
FLY's multi-faceted artistry has paved the way for her to perform at elite venues and events such as Coretta Scott Kings 85th Birthday Celebration/Freedom Concert, Frank Taylors (of The X-Factor) Acoustix Jazz Restaurant and Lounge, and Atlanta's One Billion Rising Day 2013 (for which she and music partner Sam Collier also penned a song and video) and in stage plays like The Almighty, True Love, Are You My Daddy?, and ACT II.
FLY Spirit, formed in 2010, is an ever-growing initiative designed to support and mentorship among young girls. FLY was moved to create the program after seeing herself as a teenager, in many of the young women she came in contact with. Her passion for teens and her personal experiences is what fuels her to continue to build this riveting program by holding weekly experiences with girls at North Clayton Middle School and partners with The Raising Kings Project on the Love Redefined" in Atlanta, Georgia. Both programs focus on violence and abuse prevention, esteem, hygiene, God, healthy relationships, excelling academically and being trendsetters. In addition, the initiative pushes tweens and teens to discover and understand their value, significance and opportunity to truly love and honor one another. In 2013, Love Redefined touched over 1,500 students.
