Download PDFStarfish Prime is a group of musicians based out of Roanoke, Virginia. The band grew up together playing covers and eventually writing their own music. Around a year after starting the group, the EP "White Noise" was released consisting of six original tracks. Shortly after, Starfish Prime released their full length album "1962" containing 14 original tracks.
Growing up together made it easy for Starfish Prime to get together and practice every week. The guys have learned to play covers varying from The Beatles to Gloria Gaynor, and those styles have helped influence their own unique style. Venues played include Floydfest, Festival in the Park, Kirk Avenue Music Hall, and The Water Heater.
