Bio/Background
A talented, gifted, energetic musician, songwriter, singer and Brooklyn, NY native are just a few words to describe Heda Rose. A true unsung ambassador of the music industry. Heda, as a former member of a Billboard Charted group has been featured in magazines, on mainstream radio, VH1, BET and Good morning America; but still the mystery remains. As a young girl, Heda has always had a passion for music and art. She spent her early childhood years singing in church. Heda traveled a lot but spent a great part of her domicile in the Nations Capital. From her first words written being, "I Want To Sing", to her first professional job held at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts.... Heda has stayed true to that course and currently works as a full-time musician and entrepreneur. Her hunger remains and she has blossomed from a cocoon to a beautiful butterfly with wings of determination and heart. Whatever the creme de la creme position is - she is always on that list. She landed herself in top finalist positions for talent competitions such as America's Got Talent. Heda has performed most recently with legendary artists such as Rod Stewart, SWV & En Vogue as an official member. She is currently a part of a music project endorsed by the Bob Marley Foundation & the Jimmy Hendricks foundation designed to permeate a message of upliftment and empowerment through music.
Heda's lifelong passion is to inspire the world through music & creativity. She also utilizes her love of writing in useful forms, including writing a book, and a script for film. She currently speaks at schools in various communities and works with kids who have experienced similar struggles. Her life story simply will not go untold since the triumph of daily miracles are so important to us all. She wants others to know if she can make it through tough and trying times - anyone can. She struggled with the reality of growing up in a broken home raised by a single mom, and uses that experience to uplift others. To further her love for the humanitarian spirit - she works with Mayor Walter James of her nearby town in programs designed to make a huge difference in people's lives.
