Michigan singer/songwriter Kevin Johnson has been steadily honing his songwriting and performing skills and is becoming a meaningful part of the vibrant northern Michigan music scene. Drawing on a wealth of musical influences and life experience Kevins Americana style touches on a wide variety of topics including love, loss and self discovery.
Growing up in and around Ann Arbor, Michigan Kevin currently resides in northern Michigan. As both a performer and concert/event organizer Kevin is actively involved in all aspects of his areas music scene and is now expanding his performance area to continue growing his fan base and build new music industry relationships throughout the great lakes region.
In addition to numerous local community music events Kevins performance experience includes northern Michigan events and venues such as The Paper Station, and State Road Provisions (Harbor Springs, MI), Red Sky Stage, The Noggin Room and Knot Just A Bar (Petoskey, MI), Great Indoor Folk Festival (Traverse City, MI), the Winterfest Concert series (Charlevoix, MI) Great Lakes Crossings main stage (Mackinaw City, MI) along with his Great North Songwriters Festival and February Sunshine concerts (Petoskey, MI).
Kevin was also selected to perform at the 2020 Blissfest Music Festival prior to its Covid-19 cancellation.
