Gaining massive momentum through constant touring, the bands recent single 'The Summer Sky' featured nationally on NOVA, 2DayFM and the band performed a sell out headline tour of 14 shows across 6 states, with the finale show packing out the Sydney Seymour Centre.
New Empire's debut album COME WITH ME TONIGHT has independently (no distribution or label support) sold more than 10,000 copies and is available on iTunes. Frontman Jeremy Fowler released his debut solo album DIAMONDS WITHOUT A NAME exclusive to iTunes late last year.
New Empire's music has been used nationally as the theme/promotion song for television shows such as The Mentalist, Domestic Blitz, My Kids A Star, Sea Patrol, Sports Tonight and the Australian Navy.
New Empire are 'online favourites'. They have recently been the 6th most talked about Twitter topic around the world, as well as featuring heavily on YouTube and having a solid Facebook and MySpace presence; (approaching 1 million Myspace plays and 10,000 friends).
New Empire; Jeremy, Pete, Sam and Kale are from Cronulla Beach NSW, have been playing music together since they were kids. They have captivated audiences around the world with their powerful and unforgettable live show, catchy melodies and their heart-felt and honest lyrics.
Most recently New Empire has co-headlined a national tour with Stan Walker performing sell out shows at Brisbane Riverstage (10,000ppl), Melbourne's Hisense Arena (10,000ppl) and Challenge Stadium in Perth (5,000ppl).
New Empire has previously toured with Relient K (USA, Grammy nominated), Newsboys (USA, Grammy award winning), Family Force 5 (USA) and shared the stage with Switchfoot (USA), Guy Sebastian, Shannon Noll, Casey Chambers, Underoath (USA), Naturally 7 (USA), MXPX (USA) and many more.
In 2008 New Empire won an award for their single Take Me Back at the National MusicOZ Awards held in Darling Harbour, Sydney.
New Empire are currently writing their 2nd album, due for release in 2011.
