"IT'S A NEW YEAR FOR CLAUDE STUART!"

Claude Stuart - comedian, actor, writer and producer - is having quite a busy 2014. He's already shot two pilots, a feature film and is starring on a hit comedy show in its third season! Oh yeah, he's also constantly on tour doing stand-up across the country and internationally.

Claude started off the year by shooting a hilarious pilot, “Bad TV: To Kill Bigfoot”. Claude explains, “It's the story of two competing hit reality TV shows on the same network. One hopes to save Bigfoot; the other aims to kill Bigfoot.” Claude portrays James Tucker; the fast-talking, materialistic producer of “Bigfoot Commander”; a popular reality TV program that the comedian describes as “'Duck Dynasty', but not as classy.” Claude's character is jockeying for the top position with his friend Lex Brontin, who is the antithesis of James Tucker. While Tucker is just in the reality game for the quick paycheck, Brontin genuinely cares about developing his show and sympathizes with everyone involved. Brontin is played by Michael Magid; and director Tobey Humphries said “The strongest part of this pilot is the chemistry with Claude and Michael. Every time we screened it, their scenes got the best reactions. People love to watch these guys interact!” How did they pull it off so easily? Claude claims, “Besides the fact that we've been close friends for a decade, I have NO IDEA.” These two are also creative partners in the hit series“Recycled Babies”, but we'll get to that in a minute.....

After filming the Bigfoot pilot, Claude was next cast in the new Adam Carolla movie, Road Hard. The actor said, “This was an honor for me; I've been an Adam Carolla fan since the 90s.” The film was completely crowdfunded by Adam Carolla, who became the most successful crowdfunding comedian by raising almost $1.5 million! During his campaign, Carolla held a contest for comedians; the winners are shown performing their acts in the movie. Comics were asked to send in a 2-minute clip....tens of thousands applied, and Claude was one of the final 24 chosen to be in the film! “I sent in my joke where I compare men cheating to women shopping for shoes,“ says Mr. Stuart. “I thought it would be up Carolla's alley because it's clever and boarderline misogynistic. Plus, it's exactly 2 minutes!” Clearly, he chose wisely.

Claude Stuart followed Road Hard by doing a live pilot at The Comedy Central Stage with his sketch group, “Recycled Babies”. Claude and Michael Magid have been two of the producers - as well as two of the stars and writers - of “Recycled Babies” since its inception in 2012. “The Recycled Babies' Summer Spectacular” is the second live pilot that Comedy Central requested the sketch team to perform at their venue in Hollywood. (Tobey Humphries saw the first, “Recycled Babies Live!”, and immediately cast the two in “Bad TV: To Kill Bigfoot”.) The comedians did a “multi-media” format for this production; mixing live sketches, previously filmed sketches and stand-up.

Claude and the cast of “Recycled Babies” have also developed a popular web series by the same name; they are currently in their third season. Even celebrities are becoming fans! Actress Monica Potter, of hit TV shows like “Parenthood” and “Boston Legal” as well as movies such as Patch Adams and Saw, said “Claude made me laugh so hard, I honestly thought I was going to pee my pants.” She and her husband Christopher Allison were both so impressed with the Recycled Babies, they became executive producers during the first season. After seeing their second live pilot, Allison declared “They're a really talented group of people who write and deliver smart and hilarious content.”

What's in store next for Claude Stuart? Considering 2014 is far from over and he's already filmed four projects....I'm guessing quite a lot!
